I am beginning my freelance career having spent five years as the lead 3D artist at Plug-in Media and a total of ten years as a professional 3D artist.
During my time at Plug-in I worked on 20 published projects many of which were major kids brands. For example Peppa Pig, Dora, Paw Patrol and Shimmer and Shine. In 2016 we won a BAFTA for Best Interactive Adapted App for Get Well Soon Hospital.
Faithfully recreating brands in 2D and 3D interactive environments has therefore become a specialist skill of mine.
Prior to Plug-in I worked as a lead artist on two children’s TV series; The Iconicles for the BBC and The HaHa Hairies for Cartoonito. The latter went on to win a BAFTA Cymru for Best VFX.
My broad range of experience and interests means I am well equipped to tackle most challenges thrown my way. If you want it to move on a screen then I’m interested. If you want it to be hairy then so much the better!
